Join us for the first ever Berkshire Cycling Association Fall Foliage Gravel Grinder! It's a challenging 53 mile bicycle ride through Central and Southern Berkshire County in Western Massachusetts on remote dirt roads during peak fall foliage season! If 53 miles is too long for you, there will be two marked short-cuts which will reduce the distance to 49 miles (short cut #1), 45 miles (short cut #2) or 41 miles (both short cuts).

This ride will be a major fundraiser for the Pittsfield High School Cross Country Running Teams. Members from the boys and girls teams will be manning the aid stations for you.

Final Course

We've spent a lot of time finding the best course with the most and coolest dirt roads in the area. The main route is 53 miles. By popular demand, we are also offering two short cuts that will reduce the route to 42 miles. Also, because some people signed early (when we had a longer loop in mind), we're offering a "bonus" loop that adds 8 miles and will have one unmanned aid station with water for those who opt to go long. We have updated the cue sheet with directions for the final route including the two short cuts and the bonus route.
