Curlys Trail Half Marathon (13.6 miles) & 5K (3.4 miles)

Sunday
September 12, 2010
9:30 AM

Pittsfield State Forest
Pittsfield, MA

This year we are adding a shorter race - 5k (just a tad longer according to my latest GPS track) all on trails!  Half marathon course slightly changed from last year - got rid of the portion of ATV trail and added in a downhill and uphill. Starting from the Lulu Cascade area, runners will run in a counter clock-wise direction. Both races start at 9:30. 5Kers with run with the Half marathoners and before the "real climbing" starts they will finish. The half marathoners will continue up the mountain. Aid stations are located at approximately 3, 6, and 11. You can expect pretzels, crackers, cookies, candy, powerbars, hammergel, bananas, water and HEED at the stations.

Race Route:

Turn by Turn Directions:

  • Go South out the Telephone Line Trail
  • At dirt road T, take a left and run East on Dirt Road
