Shannon with some healthy looking red blood cells.

Spencer Pero after crashing on pavement at 35 MPH up in East Burke Vermont.

I did this one riding alone on huckers choice, a couple of weeks after the shoulder injury. Saw it coming... Thought it would be better to land on my face than my shoulder... And it was.

Jimmy Mucci, FTS Race Team Junior, after 2006 BCA/Dave's Bike Shop Cyclocross in Pittsfield

Andrew Mucci - after going off a jump (on a borrowed bike)the wheel fell off, the front fork hit the dirt and you know the rest of the story! Big brother Jimmy carried him out of the woods with the help of another friend and into the ambulance he went. Boys & Bikes & Jumps oh my!

X-RAY of my right clavicle - plate and screws...

1999 at Mountain High Ski Resort in So Cal...Down Hill Race - I OTB'd while attempting to pre-jump a sizable drop off.... I pre jumped too soon and my back wheel clipped the crest and pitched me over head first - pile-driver style and my collar bone, among various body parts, was broken badly... even my arm pit was black and blue for several weeks - I remember my first audible muttering "I hate racing"

It heeled like an arrowhead pointing out from within my body, so I opted for reconstructive surgery... The hardware was installed October 2000, and remains there to this day, as I don't really care to go under the knife again to remove it...
